• Overview of Opportunity

  • The Pathways Impact Fund (The Fund) catalyzed by StriveTogether is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for regional intermediary organizations committed to advancing high-quality career pathways for students in high schools. This initiative is grounded in a long-term vision to ensure every young person can access and succeed in high-quality pathways that lead to economic mobility and a fulfilling future.

The Fund will award $900,000–$1.5M over three years to selected regional intermediary organizations working to scale the components of high-quality pathways leading to direct student impact. Grantees will join a national learning network, receive tailored support, and engage in a community of practice.

Read more about the Pathways Impact Fund's grantmaking approach here. We encourage you to review fully the Letter of Interest Instruction Guide before submitting.

  • Eligibility Criteria

Please answer all questions to find out if your organization is eligible to apply for the Pathways Impact Fund. All criteria must be met to move forward to the Letter of Interest (LOI). This should take about 2 minutes.

The deadline to submit the LOI is Friday, July 10, at 11:59pm ET.

  • Our organization operates as a place-based intermediary (for example: a nonprofit, collaborative, public-private partnership, workforce board, chamber of commerce, or postsecondary institution) that is directly embedded in and accountable to the communities we serve. Note: national intermediaries supporting regions from a distance are not eligible for this grant opportunity.
  • Thank you for your interest in the Pathways Impact Fund, but you do not meet the intermediary criteria.

The Pathways Impact Fund supports regional and state intermediaries — organizations that convene cross-sector partners to drive systems change in their communities.

We appreciate your interest in the Pathways Impact Fund and we’d still love to stay connected. Visit the resource hub for tools, resources, and field-building opportunities available to all organizations working on high-quality pathways.

  • We actively convene cross-sector partners across K-12, postsecondary, workforce, employers, and government. We are an organization that brings partners to the table around a shared vision for regional pathways and we lead coordination across sectors.
  • Thank you for your interest in the Pathways Impact Fund.

Convening cross-sector partners is a core requirement of eligibility to apply to The Fund. We need to see active and sustained coordination across K–12, postsecondary, workforce, employers, and government partners.

If you're building toward this, we encourage you to apply in a future cohort once those partnerships are more established. In the meantime, visit the resource hub to connect with the field.

  • We have formal documentation of our governance structure with our core pathways partners (examples include a regional strategic plan or charter) and have established partnership agreements in place.
  • Thank you for your interest in the Pathways Impact Fund.

Formal governance is required to demonstrate organizational readiness for a Pathways Impact Fund investment. We're not able to move forward with your application at this time.

In the meantime, visit the resource hub for tools and examples to help you build governance structures.

  • Our organization currently supports the implementation of all three purposeful pathways core programmatic components (accelerated coursework, career-connected learning, and high-quality advising) with our K-12 district partners.
  • Thank you for your interest in the Pathways Impact Fund.

The Fund is designed to support organizations that are already implementing high-quality pathway components. We're not able to move forward with your application at this time.

In the meantime, visit the resource hub for guidance on getting started with high-quality pathway design and implementation.

  • We are looking for organizations that have a credible plan to scale purposeful pathways to new students over the next three years. What three-year scale target can your organization credibly commit to achieving?
